… Here come a couple words about:)
Welcome to my site – dedicated to my creative side and throes of creation:)
Nowadays I’ve completely thrown into Supernatural thus the main art here is dedicated to this particular TV Show. Here you can also find (along with art) my fanfiction on Supernatural as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Harry Potter franchise. I’m buffoholic with a long history, you can call me Buffy’s vet (sorta) if you want as well as HP’s vet with huge Supernatural crush. I can’t even start to imagine my next fandom, and I’m still very comfortable with SPN.
I can’t promise you that you are gonna find all my fanfiction here – I’ve decided not to bring everything and got different reasons for such decision. It applies to my art as well.
I began to work with Photoshop in 2004 and I’m still working and I don’t even want to stop. Sometimes I can see fully shaped picture in front of my eyes and I can’t stop thinking about it till it’s done and sometimes it happens spontaneously. The idea itself and the result of it can be completely different. I can’t try to do in Photoshop something I dislike or something that I’m not interested in. I don’t think it’s a great professional skill but I don’t think about myself as professional for now so why bother with it?
I’ve began to write when I was 11. I can assure you that I remember clear when I’ve took a pen with decision to write “the great piece” – it was the 5th of May 1994. I remember it cause I gave a great amount of thoughts about to put or not a real date in it or to create a future one, I say, 2489 and all that aliens stuff:)
If you ask me how I feel about my creations I can say that I’m not bothered a lot with my art without credits somewhere on web but it’s still not cool. And I’m very upset when somebody’s cutting my art in pieces. If you want a banner for your fic and one of my arts is 100% match, you need to ask me to make this banner for you and not to break my throes of creation. So at least try to ask, ok. I don’t bite, promise:)
As for fics I don’t mind to give them to other sites, of course, with all credits and links. If you’ve already done credits and links thing, you can even not to ask me. There is a fic, there is an author and there is a link – no problems as for me. But, of course, it would be very nice if you said: “Nai, can I take your fic to my archive, please?”
About tutorials – I’m not an ace in it, I’ve got simple techniques, but if you want to know how I made some art, you can write to me and I’ll write a lesson for you when I have time.
What else?
Oh yeah, totally forgot – this resource is bilingual: English and Russian. I know English pretty good but not that good so I can’t freely write in it. So I’ve asked my friends to translate this text for me. Special thanks to Bri and Gero. But, of course, I can reply to a letter or answer a question, I can understand everything that said to me. And if I had problems, I always have dictionary – people’s best friend:)
Russian and Ukrainian are my native languages and I live in Ukraine. My name is Anya, my nickname is Naisica, but my friends call me Nai and very special friends call me CallmeNai:)
